Sudan Gurung-led Gen Z.’s protests in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU:-  Less than two days after the government was formed after the end of the movement, a protest has begun in Baluwatar by the Gen Z.’s led by Sudan Gurung.

The Gen Z.’s group led by Sudan Gurung raised slogans in Baluwatar, expressing dissatisfaction with Prime Minister Sushila Karki’s selection of ministers without consulting the Gen Z.’s .

The Gen Z.’s group also demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki during the sloganeering. Family members of those who died during the Gen Z.’s movement also raised slogans in the presence of Sudan Gurung, including “Prime Minister should resign” and “Don’t do politics over the dead.”

Sudan Gurung has said, “The greatest power is the Nepali people. We can also take them out of the place where we have taken them.”

Sushila Karki was appointed Prime Minister last Friday on the proposal of the youth of the Sudan-led ‘Hami Nepal’ group.
