PM Oli Visits Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao Memorial Museum in Tianj

Tianjin, China:- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is currently in Tianjin to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, paid a visit today to the Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao Memorial Museum located in Nankai District.

The museum is dedicated to the legacy of Zhou Enlai, the revered leader of the Chinese Revolution and the first Premier of the People’s Republic of China, and his wife Deng Yingchao, a prominent Chinese politician and women’s rights advocate.

During the visit, Prime Minister Oli observed various exhibits showcasing the life, contributions, and political journey of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao, and noted the historical significance of their leadership in shaping modern China.

Accompanying the Prime Minister were First Lady Radhika Shakya, Member of the House of Representatives Purna Bahadur Khadka, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, former Finance Minister and Economic and Development Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, and MP Chhabilal Bishwakarma.

Also present were Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Amrit Bahadur Rai, Nepali Ambassador to China Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song, and other senior officials.

Prime Minister Oli arrived in China on Bhadra 14 (August 30) at the friendly invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, leading a high-level Nepali delegation to participate in the SCO Summit. During his stay, he is also scheduled to engage in bilateral meetings and visit key development sites.

The visit to the museum reflects Nepal’s respect for historic Sino-Nepal relations and highlights the continued cultural and diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
