Order to submit documents related cancellation of Sah’s candidacy

KATHMANDU:- The Supreme Court has directed the Election Commission to appear on March 10 with the file regarding the cancellation of the candidacy of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Kishori Sah Kamal in Dhanusha Constituency No. 1. 

A single bench of Justice Nripadhwaj Niraula today ordered not to make public the voting results in Dhanusha 1, where the candidacy of RSP candidate Sah was cancelled. The counting of votes has been completed.

The defendants in the case have been asked to submit a written response through the Attorney General’s Office within seven days of the date of receipt of the order along with the reasons for the same. (RSS)
