NPL: Pokhara beat Karnali by 34 runs

KATHMANDU:- Pokhara Avengers beat Karnali Yaks by 34 runs in the Nepal Premier League  (NPL)  match played in TU International Ground, Kritipur, today.

Pokhara Avengers scored 201 runs in 20 over with a loss of 2 wickets where Adam Rossington hit a ton of 108 runs playing 58 balls. Besides, Jason Roy scored 46 runs in 34 balls and Dhananjaya Lakshan  scored 23 runs in 11 balls and Kushal Bhurtel scored 18 runs in 17 balls.

For Pokhara Avengers, Dhananjaya Lakshan took 3 wickets, Rishi Dhawan took 3 wickets, Kiran Thagunna took one wicket, Sandeep Chettri took one wicket, Kushal Bhurtel took one wicket.

Meanwhile, karnali Yaks got all out scoring 167 runs in 19 overs. karnali Yaks loosed its momentum after Mark Watt got out by scoring 59 runs in 34 balls, Najibullah Zadran scored 24 runs in 15 balls, Pawan Sarraf scored 19 runs in 14 balls and Priyank Panchal scored 16 runs in 11 balls.

Nandan Yadav and Mark Watt took one-one wicket each for Karnali Yaks.
