NPL: Lumbini beat Biratnagar

KATHMANDU:- Lumbini Lions beat Biratnagar Kings by 5 wickets in Nepal Premier League (NPL) match played at TU International Cricket Ground, Kritipur today.

D’arcy Short hit 57 runs in 44 balls, Niroshan Dickwella hit 29 runs in 22 balls and Sundeep Jora hit 24 runs in 15 balls for Lumbini Lions to help chase 145 runs target set by Birtnagar Kings in 20 overs.

For Lumbini Lions, Sher Malla took 3 wickets in 4 overs to get awarded with player of the match, in addition JJ Smit, Abhishesh Gautum, Ruben Trumplemann took one wicket each.

For Biratnagar Kings, Lokesh Bam scored 35 runs in 42 balls, Basir Ahamad scored 28 runs in 19 balls and Sam Heazlett scored 27 runs in 20 balls.

For Biratnagar Kings, Subash Bhandari and Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets each.
