Newly appointed Chief Justice Sharma takes oath of office and secrecy 

KATHMANDU:- President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, today, Tuesday. 

President Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Chief Justice Sharma during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace, Sheetal Niwas.

The ceremony was attended by Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Balendra Shah, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal, National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, and other high-level government officials.

President Poudel appointed Sharma as the Chief Justice on Tuesday, on the recommendation of the Constitutional Council, in accordance with Clause 2 of Article 129 of the Constitution of Nepal.
