RIYADH:-  Nepali citizens who are facing problems returning home due to the cancellation of their visas and civil IDs in Kuwait have been granted transit visas to return to Nepal via Saudi Arabia.

According to a statement issued by the Nepali Embassy in Kuwait on Thursday, visa facilitation has been provided to Nepali citizens who have had problems returning to Nepal due to the closure of Kuwait’s airspace, who have obtained Visa 1 or Visa 14, and whose visa/civil ID has been canceled.

According to the embassy, the Nepali citizens who have applied to the embassy as per the attached list have been approved for transit visas to Saudi Arabia. As the transit visas will be limited in duration, the approved citizens have been urged to proceed with the process of returning to Nepal via Saudi Arabia as soon as possible.
