National women’s football team announced for friendly match

KATHMANDU:- The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has today announced a 23-member Nepali national U-20 women’s team for a friendly match against China’s Yunnan provincial youth team.   

The match is being held in coordination with the Chinese Embassy in Nepal and the National Sports Council on the occasion of the Chinese New Year. The friendly match will be held at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu on January 31.

The team includes Amita Bhul, Anisha Rai, Asmita Gurung, Bhavana Pariyar, Birsna Chaudhary, Ganga Rokaya, Jhuma Bishwakarma, Kabita Gurung, Karuna Budhathoki, Kusum Khatiwada, Leela Joshi and Meena Deuba.

Similarly, Sajina Syangtan, Samiksha Magar, Sangita Adhikari, Sanimamaya Lo, Sarita Kumari Nath, Semihang Limbu, Simran Rai, Sujata Tamang, Poonam Chemjong, Purnima Rai and Shukriya Mia are in the team.

The team’s head coach is Yama Prasad Gurung.
