Nation will never forget Bipin’s bravery, sacrifice: PM Karki

KATHMANDU:- Prime Minister Sushila Karki has paid tribute to and expressed sadness over the death of Bipin Joshi, a Nepali student who died in Hamas captivity.

Issuing a condolence message on Tuesday, PM Karki said, “The Nation will never forget his sacrifice and bravery.”

She shared that she was shocked to know about Bipin’s death despite collective prayers and unyielding optimism about his release alive from captivity for the last two years. “We were optimistic that he would return alive and contribute to nation’s development.”

She characterized Bipin’s death as being inhumane victim of international conflict.

Saying that Bipin showed courage, brave and sense of sacrifice before being kept hostage that resulted in saving lives of many of his friends, the PM said, “This brave work is his legacy, and this will keep him alive in memory of Nepalis as symbol of Nepali glory.”
