Light rain and snowfall likely in mountainous and hilly areas

KATHMANDU:- Currently, the monsoon low-pressure trough is situated near its average position. The country is experiencing the partial influence of both monsoon winds and westerly winds.

As a result, the weather is partly cloudy in the Himalayan regions, while the hilly and Terai regions are experiencing weather ranging from mainly clear to partly cloudy conditions.

Partly cloudy conditions will prevail across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places within the mountainous and hilly regions.

Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy in the mountainous and hilly regions, while it will remain mainly clear in the Terai region.
