ICE arrests 9 illegal immigrants on criminal charges in Canal Street operation in New York City

WASHINGTON:-  On Tuesday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed the arrest of nine criminal illegal immigrants in an operation on Canal Street.

Some of their rap sheets included incidents such as robbery, theft, domestic violence, assault on law enforcement, forgery, drug trafficking, drug possession, and fraud.

In addition, four violent rioters were arrested on charges of assaulting law enforcement, and another rioter was arrested on charges of obstruction.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said, “ICE conducted a targeted operation on Canal Street in New York City on Tuesday and arrested nine illegal immigrants with criminal histories in the operation.”

Among the illegal immigrants arrested by ICE in a targeted operation on Canal Street in New York City on Tuesday were Mamadou Andoye, a Mali native, and Mohamed Ndiaye, a Senegalese national, and Aboubakar Diakite.

Similarly, the arrested criminal illegal immigrants are Idi Sarr, Senegal, Sergin Diop, Senegal, Modou Mboup, Senegal, Alioune Si, Senegal and Bokar Soko, Mauritania and Amadou Diallo, Guinea.

Most of the illegal immigrants arrested by ICE in a targeted operation on Canal Street in New York City on Tuesday were black people of African origin.
