Heavy rain likely in four provinces tonight
KATHMANDU:- According to the Weather Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, light to moderate rain is currently occurring in various places across Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
The Division states that on Friday night, there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two locations across the Himalayan, hilly, and Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as the hilly and Terai regions of Lumbini Province.
On Saturday, the weather is expected to be generally cloudy across the country, with a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places within the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in some places within the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in a few places within the mountainous regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
On Sunday, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places across the Terai regions of Koshi, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in Madhesh Province and the Terai areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. The department has stated that heavy rain is likely in one or two places within the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
