Government decides to extend statute amendment discussion paper drafting panel’s term

KATHMANDU:- The government has decided to extend the tenure of the Task Force Preparing the Constitution Amendment Discussion Paper, 2083.     

Today’s cabinet meeting decided to extend the task force’s deadline until July 16, said Minister for Education and Sports and government spokesperson Sashmit Pokhrel.     

The meeting decided to instruct the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration to implement the report of the High-Level Commission on the Investigation and Protection of Government and Public Land (Rawal Commission), 2052.     

According to the government’s spokesperson, today’s cabinet meeting also decided to nominate Ramesh Kumar Dhital (Sindhupalchok) to the position of Chairperson of the Accounting Standards Board.
