Four new ministers administered oath of office

KATHMANDU:- President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the four newly appointed ministers at a special ceremony in the Office of the President today.

Shrddha Shrestha, Madhav Chaulagain, Rajendra Singh Bhandari and Kumar Ingnam have been inducted in the Council of Ministers.

Shraddha Shrestha has been appointed as the Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen, Madhav Chaulagain has been appointed as the Minister for Forest and Environment, Rajendra Singh Bhandari has been appointed as the Minister for Labour and Social Security and Kumar Ingnam has been appointed as the Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.

It is the fourth time that Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expanded her Cabinet.

Present in the swearing-in ceremony were Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, NA Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut and high level officials of the government, chiefs of the diplomatic missions in Kathmandu as well as the chiefs of the constitutional bodies and security forces.
