Former speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara arrested

KATHMANDU:- Former speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) has been arrested. 

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) on Sunday arrested Mahara in connection to gold smuggling case.

According to information officer of Nepal Police, Shiva Kumar Shrestha, the former Speaker, also a Maoist Center leader, was arrested from his residence located in Lalitpur.
