Extraordinary responsibility lies on UML’s shoulders: Chairman Oli

KATHMANDU:- Chairman of the CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli has said that the UML currently has an extraordinary responsibility on its shoulders.

Addressing the first meeting of the newly formed central committee following the 11th General Convention, Chairman Oli said that the newly elected Central Committee needs to fulfill its responsibility with integrity and enthusiasm.

He said that the 11th General Convention has been a success from every perspective.

Saying that conflict is observed within the party from time to time, he hoped that such weakness would not be seen in the future.

“We must have one voice; we will move forward according to the policy passed by the Second Legislative Assembly, not in some fleeting manner. We need to move forward in harmony,” he said.

Chairman Oli called to present the dissatisfaction in front of the leadership verbally or in writing and urged not to vent his dissatisfaction within the party through the public media.

He reminded us that discipline is essential, as we are social beings and a firm tone is indispensable within the UML.

According to him, the UML is not an undisciplined party that would burn down Singha Durbar while wearing a national flag.

UML is a unit and will move forward by being unified.

The Chairman said, “The Country is now in a sensitive state, and it is the responsibility of the UML to take the country out of it.”

He urged his cadres not to be affected by the foil information that is being spread against the party.

He said that incidents of violence, vandalism and arson were being carried out to carry out activities against democracy and the republic in the country.

Chairman Oli made it clear that the UML would move forward with greater acceleration of its dynamics.
