Bolbam fair begins at tri-religious place Halesi

KHOTANG:- The Bolbam fair has begun in the famous tri-religious area in Halesi, Khotang.

The Bolbam fair is held in Halesi every year on every Monday of the month of Shrawan. This year’s Bolbam fair has begun today, the first Monday of Shrawan.

Halesi, a meeting place for Hindu, Buddhist, and Kirat followers, is a world-famous religious area. Devotees from various parts of Nepal and even abroad visit Halesi during the fair.

On the first Monday of Shrawan, Halesi is crowded with visitors.

‘Hotels in the Halesi area are full. More than 10,000 visitors visited Halesi on the first Monday,’ said Ramesh Rai, head of the information centre.
