All programs related to by-election annulled

KATHMANDU:- The Election Commission has canceled all programs related to the by-election schedule dot be held for the post of member of House of Representatives in Rupandehi Constituency No. 3.

EC Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai said the by-election was canceled after President Ramchandra Paudel, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister of the Interim Government, dissolved the House of Representatives and set the date for the election of a new House of Representatives for upcoming March 5.

The by-election in Rupandehi Constituency No. 3 was already announced to be held on coming November 4.
