Acharya appointed Chair of committee to manage crisis-ridden cooperatives

KATHMANDU:- The government has appointed Dilli Ram Acharya (Pyuthan) as Chairman of the committee for managing the crisis-ridden cooperatives.

Talking to the media after the Cabinet meeting today, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Dr. Bikram Timalsina informed that Simkhada Dahal (Dhading) and Roshan Bahadur Shakya (Lalitpur) have been appointed as the members of the committee.

The meeting also decided to permit tabling in federal parliament of the bill to amend the Nepal Special Service Act, 2042, the bill to amend HoR member election Act, 2072, and the bill to amend Voters Name List Act, 2073.

Similarly, the Cabinet meeting decided to form a recommendation committee under vice-chair of NPC Dr. Gunakar Bhatta for appointment of the Chair of the Securities Board of Nepal.
