ACC U19 Asia Cup: Nepal suffers defeat against Bangladesh

KATHMANDU:- Nepal lost the match against Bangladesh by seven wickets in ongoing ACC U19 Asia Cup. 

Winning the toss today in the Seven Stadium at Dubai of the United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh chose to field first.

Chasing the victory target, Bangladesh completed it at 24.5 overs by losing three wickets. For Bangladesh, Zawad Abrar contributed 70 runs (not out) in 68 balls while Kalam Siddiki made 34 runs in 66 balls.

Nepal’s Abhisekh Tiwari and Yubraj Khatri took one wicket each.

Earlier, Nepal gathered 130 runs in 31.1 overs of the 50 overs match by losing all wickets. Abhishesh Tiwari scored the highest 30 runs while Ashish Luhar made 23 runs and Sahil Patel contributed 18 runs.

Towards bowling, Md Sobuj of Bangladesh took three wickets while Saad Islam, Azizul Hakim and Shahriar Ahmed took two wickets each.
