Department of road requests to prohibit night-travel

KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has requested all to be alert till October 20 as the nation is likely to face heavy rainfall.

The DHM has requested to prohibit travel at night time due to a high chance of landslide amid the continuous rainfall.

The road department has also suggested to travel prohibition and also announced all the concerned official staffs to be ready for disaster resistance work.

The department also request to take precautionary measures while travelling along Narayangadh-Muglin, Nagdhunga-Muglin, BP Highway, Kanthipath Lokpath, Tribhuvan-Rajpath, Daunne road.
