Collect dues of dedicated, trunk line, Energy Minister Ghising instructs

KATHMANDU:- Newly appointed Minister for Energy and Water Resources Kulman Ghising has instructed the concerned authority to collect dues of the dedicated and trunk lines.

Minister Ghising issued the instruction after he assumed the office today.

“Nepal is in crisis in political and financial terms. At this time, all the business community and people in and outside the country should extend support,” he said, “It is instructed to the concerned authority to collect arrears of the electricity tariff as it is the work to do immediately.”

Earlier, Minister Ghising took the oath of office and secrecy at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas.

He also assured that he would try to translate demands of the Gen Z movement into action.
