Heavy rain forecast in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki provinces

KATHMANDU:- The monsoon wind has its influence throughout the country at present with the monsoon low pressure trough to its average position in the west and to the north from its average position in the eastern part of the country, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said. 

The weather today will be generally cloudy throughout the country, with a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in most of the parts in the hilly areas of the country and at a few places in the Tarai.

According to the Division, there is also a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Likewise, the Division stated that the weather will continue to remain generally cloudy throughout the country and partly cloudy in the Tarai tonight. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning at some places in the hilly areas of the country including one or two places in the Tarai. (RSS)
