Light rain and snowfall likely in Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces today
KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that this afternoon, the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will be generally cloudy, while the Himalayan regions of the remaining provinces will be partly cloudy.
The hilly regions of the country will be partly cloudy. The Terai regions of Madhesh, Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will also be partly cloudy, whereas the weather in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces will remain mainly clear.
There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in one or two places within the country’s Himalayan regions and the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Similarly, tonight, the Himalayan regions of the country will experience partial cloud cover. The hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces will also see partial cloud cover, while the weather in the remaining hilly regions will remain mainly clear.
Fog is expected in some areas of the Terai region during the morning. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places within the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
