Light rain likely in some places on Tuesday
KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that the mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces will be generally cloudy on Tuesday.
On that day, the remaining mountainous regions and the hilly areas of the country will experience partial cloudiness. While the weather in the Terai region is expected to remain mainly clear, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in a few places within the mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in one or two locations across the country’s other mountainous and hilly areas.
According to the department, the country is currently experiencing the partial influence of both westerly and monsoon winds.
On Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy in the country’s mountainous and hilly regions, while remaining mainly clear in the Terai region. The department has stated that there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places across the mountainous and hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as the mountainous regions of Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
