Chance of rain and snowfall in the mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces
KATHMANDU:-Â The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that the monsoon low-pressure trough is currently situated near its normal position. The country is experiencing the partial influence of both monsoon winds and westerly winds.
As a result, the weather is partly cloudy in the Himalayan regions, while the hilly and Terai regions are experiencing conditions ranging from mainly clear to partly cloudy.
Partly cloudy skies are expected across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in a few places within the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, and in one or two places within the mountainous and hilly regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Tonight, the weather will be generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, while the mountainous and hilly areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces will experience partly cloudy conditions.
The weather will remain mainly clear across the country’s Terai regions. The Department has stated that there is a possibility of light rain in one or two places within the hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.
