350 stranded in Upper Trishuli Hydropower tunnel rescued, operation continuing for remaining 100

KATHMANDU:- As many as 350 people stranded in the tunnel of the Upper Trishuli Hydropower have been rescued.

Rescue operation for some 100 workers and locals still stranded inside the tunnel is going on.

A rescue team of the Nepali Army (NA) from Number 1 Second Movement Tactical Headquarters, Trishuli, rescued the workers from the tunnel, according to the secretariat of the Prime Minister.

The NA rescued 833 people from flood-hit area today.
