Gold price rises Rs 2800 per tola in Nepal

KATHMANDU:- The price of gold has risen in the local market today, increasing by Rs 2,800 per tola. Meanwhile, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 10 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been set at Rs 319,500 per tola today, while the price of silver has been fixed at Rs 4,975 per tola.

Last Friday, the price of fine gold was set at Rs 316,700 per tola, while the price of the same quantity of pure silver was fixed at Rs 4,985.

According to international media reports, gold is currently trading at $4,623 per ounce and silver at $69 per ounce in the international market.
