Governor Newsom announces nominations of eight appellate court judges

LOS ANGELES:- Governor Gavin Newsom has announced the nominations of eight appellate court justices.

The nominees include Justice Rashida Adams for the Second District Court of Appeal, Division 3; Justice Denise Hipach for the Second District Court of Appeal, Division 6; David Sap for the Third District Court of Appeal; and Justice Laurie Damrell for the Third District Court of Appeal.

Similarly, the appointees are Judge Marsha Amin for the Fourth District Court of Appeal, Division 1; Judge Lisa Rodriguez for the Fourth District Court of Appeal, Division 1; Judge Juliet McAuley for the Fourth District Court of Appeal, Division 3; and Judge Frederick Chung for the Sixth District Court of Appeal.

The Governor has also announced the appointment of nine Superior Court judges, including four in Los Angeles County, one in Riverside County, two in San Diego County, one interim appointment in Sonoma County, and one interim appointment in San Francisco County.
