Home Minister Gurung meets with deceased Mehata’s family

KATHMANDU:- Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has met with the family member of Rabindra Mehata, a youth who succumbed to injuries while under treatment at TU Teaching Hospital.

The meeting between Home Minister Gurung and Mehata’s family members took place at the TUTH.

Mehata, 22, died this morning at TUTH. He was injured in clashes at Kaptangunj in Devangunj Rural Municipality-3.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Gurung today itself held separate discussions with representatives from the Hindu and the Muslim communities.

During the meeting, discussion focused on issues related to incidents of misunderstanding seen in different parts of country, dispute, peace and security as well as social harmony, according to the secretariat of Home Minister Gurung.
