Government to execute past panels’ reports on victims of loan shark

KATHMANDU:- The government has decided to immediately implement the reports of the previous commissions on the victims of loan sharks.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday decided to entrust the responsibility to implement at earliest the reports submitted by different commissions in the past on victims of loan shark in order to solve the problems of the victims.

According to government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel, the Cabinet meeting also decided to provide incentive allowances to personnel who get deployed for search and rescue operations during natural disasters, including those of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force.

Nepali team in international sporting event including players, trainers and managers who get medals and thus boost the country’s glory will be provided with cash prizes and appreciation letters, said government spokesperson Pokharel citing Cabinet decisions.

Similarly, the Cabinet decided to appoint Maheshwar Bhakta Shrestha as the executive Chairman of the Nepal Airlines Corporation.

The Cabinet also decided to approve the first amendment to the seeds related Regulation-2083.
