Passport service remains closed for two days

KATHMANDU:- The passport service will remain closed for two days as part of the preparation to launch a new system, which requires technical migration of data to a new platform.

The Department of Passport issued a notice on Wednesday and informed that it would close service on July 9 and 10, for transferring the current operating system to the new one.

However, the Department made it clear that passports which are already prepared will be distributed as usual. The service seekers who have received SMS for passport collection can contact the Department and collect their passports. (RSS)
