UML Secretariat meeting concludes with formation of party reorganization task force

KATHMANDU:-  The CPN (UML) secretariat meeting has formed a task force under the coordination of Vice President Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal to study the election evaluation and party reorganization.

According to UML Deputy General Secretary Lekhraj Bhatta, the task force formed under the coordination of Thapa includes Vice Presidents Bishnu Prasad Poudel, Prithvi Subba Gurung, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, Deputy General Secretary Lekhraj Bhatta, Secretaries Padma Aryal, Chhabilal Bishwakarma and in-charges of eight provinces. The review period is one month.

Similarly, the meeting has determined the ranking of the office bearers. Bhatt says, “The chairman will be in second place, vice-chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa in third place, vice-chairman Bishnu Poudel in third place, Prithvisubba Gurung in fourth place, Gokarna Bista in fifth place, Raghuji Pant in sixth place, Shankar Pokharel in seventh place, Lekhraj Bhatta in eighth place, Yogash Bhattarai in ninth place, and Raghubir Mahaseth in tenth place.”

Similarly, Bhatta informed that the ranking of the secretary has been determined as 11th Chhabilal Bishwakarma, 12th Padma Aryal, 13th Khagraj Adhikar, 14th Bhanubhakta Dhakal, 15th Yamlal Kandel, 16th Sherdhan Rai, 17th Rajan Bhattarai, 18th Hikmat Karki, and 19th Mahesh Basnet.

Similarly, the meeting has formed a Constitution Amendment Suggestion Task Force under the coordination of Vice President Bishnu Prasad Poudel.

The Constitution Amendment Suggestion Task Force includes Raghuji Pant, Chhabilal Bishwakarma, Padma Aryal, Julie Kumari Mahato, Agni Kharel, Mahesh Bartauta, Krishna Bhakta Pokharel, Tikaram Bhattarai, Pasang Sherpa, Ramesh Badal, and Amar Thapa.

According to Bhatta, the meeting decided to construct a new building for the party central office in Madannagar, Balkhu.
