LOS ANGELES, (HV):- Nepali American actress and model Urusha Pandey is preparing to represent Nepal internationally and set a Guinness World Record. Once known as the ‘Expression Queen’ in Nepal, Urusha is now studying in the US and is actively pursuing acting, directing and creative fields.

Currently studying film and theater at Goshen College in the US, Urusha has made it to the Dean’s List with excellent academic performance. She is said to be achieving remarkable success in both her studies and her art, maintaining a 4.0 GPA.

Urusha, who started her career in Nepal through music videos, later moved to Mumbai and worked in Bollywood modeling and advertising. She has also appeared on the covers of various popular magazines in Nepal and India. Urusha, who has made a place in Kantipur’s ‘Saptahik’ and Nagarik’s ‘Shukrabar’ in Nepal, has also appeared in publications in India such as Women’s Era, The Niche, Spotless Fashion, Desire News and Drishti Prabha Magazine.

Urusha is continuing her acting journey in the US as well. While studying at Arkansas State University, she earned acclaim for her performance in a 90-minute one-man play called ‘Grounded.’ She played the character ‘Julia’ in the play ‘Estate’.

Similarly, she was selected from 50 competing actresses for the role of ‘Juliet’ in William Shakespeare’s famous play ‘Romeo and Juliet’. She is currently preparing for the role of ‘Ortolana’ in the play ‘Poor Claire’ at Goshen College.

Urusha is not limited to acting alone. She is also actively involved in writing, directing, and producing. Her projects like ‘Two Faced’, ‘Price of Solitude’, ‘Who is She?’ and ‘Welcome Home’ are in the news. A new project called ‘Erased: The Final Draft’ is being prepared to be released in 2026.

Urusha has announced that she will start the ‘Guinness World Record Series’ campaign from May 2026. Under this, she plans to present 300 monologues in 24 hours, stage a one-man play called ‘Kalakar’ for several consecutive days, perform the longest Indian-style dance, and challenge the current record holder Akshay Kumar through the ‘Selfie Challenge’.

If the campaign is successful, Hollywood actor Doug Jones, known for his roles in popular Hollywood films such as ‘The Shape of Water’ and ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’, is expected to hand over the official certificate.

Urusha said she is proud to represent Nepal as a student and artist in the US. She said she wants to send a message that Nepali girls can also prove their worth on the world stage.
