13 injured in Rukum jeep accident, three critical

RUKUM:- As many as 13 have sustained injuries when a jeep met with an accident near Sundarpani in Aathbiskot Municipality-9 on Tuesday evening. Three of the injured are in critical condition. 

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bed Bahadur Paudel of the District Police Office, the passenger jeep  (Ga 2 Cha 5213) en route to Ghartigaun from Radibazar met with the accident, injuring 13 on-board passengers.

All the injured have been taken to Aathbiskot Municipal Hospital for treatment, where three are reported to be in serious condition.

Eyewitnesses said that more than 19 passengers were on board at the time of the accident.

Authorities are currently collecting details about the identities of the injured.

A team from Nepal Police and the Aathbiskot Municipal Police has reached the accident site, and further rescue efforts are ongoing.

More details about the cause of the accident are yet to be confirmed.
