Leader Koirala vows to make efforts to unite Nepali Congress

KATHMANDU:- Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has said that he would make maximum efforts to unite the party.

Inaugurating the 18th annual general meeting of BP Memorial Community Cooperative Hospital on Saturday, Koirala said that he was in favour of uniting the NC instead of standing for and against. Koirala made it clear that he was not in any of the groups of the party, adding that he aimed to make the NC united.

He viewed that NC’s failure to visualise the people’s expectations and the new political wave led to the party’s poor presence in the House of Representatives (HoR) from the March 5 elections. NC preparing to impart orientation to central representatives.

Meanwhile, the NC is preparing to impart orientation to the central representatives to be deployed in the election constituencies for the party’s upcoming 15th general convention.
