KATHMANDU:- There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places of the mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces, and at one or two places of the hilly region of Gandaki Province today.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, partly cloudy conditions will prevail over the hilly and mountainous regions while the weather will remain mainly fair over the Tarai region.
Later tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy over Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces including the remaining mountainous regions, while the weather will remain mainly fair over the remaining hilly and Tarai regions.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Analysis by the Division states that there is partial influence of westerly and local winds in the country at present, according to the 8:00 am bulletin released by the Division.(RSS)
