Cloudy Weather with Chances of Rain and Snow in Hilly Regions Today

KATHMANDU:- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted generally cloudy weather in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces today, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies.

There is a possibility of light snowfall and rainfall at isolated places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of these provinces. Meanwhile, some parts of the Tarai region may experience fog and mist, which is expected to persist in a few areas tonight.

Tonight, the high hills and mountains of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces are likely to remain partly cloudy, with chances of light snowfall at one or two locations, while other areas are expected to be mainly clear.

The Meteorological Division noted that a westerly low-pressure system over the country is partially influencing the weather conditions.
