NC’s manifesto to feature good governance and development as priorities

KATHMANDU:- The manifesto of the Nepali Congress (NC) for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) elections is to feature around the ‘Vision-10’.     

At a press conference at the party central office, Sanepa, today, NC spokesperson Devraj Chalise said the election manifesto of the party would make good governance, development and applied action plan as the main basis by objectively reflecting the country’s situation.

NC’s manifesto is not barely limited to the aspiration and commitment, it would explicitly stipulate necessary resources and measures to execute the crucial document of the party, he clarified.

“The manifesto would also incorporate the measures of resource management”, Chalise said, adding, “NC has been collecting recommendations and deliberations from the districts in course of drafting the manifesto”.

The inputs and recommendations gathered from local, regional and district levels would be integrated and linked to the national necessities, the spokesperson noted. “NC would chalk out the manifesto inclusive of feasible and practical programmes that can be executed with NC’s capabilities”.

The manifesto would present credible alternatives by addressing the present challenges and future course of action, he shared. “The party is gearing up preparations to present the clear framework of political stability, responsibility and inclusive development through its manifesto”.

The party has expressed the commitment to fully abide by the election code of conduct in course of the poll publicity. “We have the policy not to enter into the personal life of any rival candidates and show respect to human freedoms”, Chalise said.(RSS)
