NPL: Karnali defeats Janakpur by 3 runs

KATHMANDU:-  Karnali Yaks defeated Janakpur Bolts by 3 runs in Nepal Premier League (NPL) match played in TU International Cricket Ground, Kritipur today. 

Chasing the target of 130 runs set by Karnali Yaks, Janakpur Bolts scored only 126 runs in 20 overs losing its 7 wickets.

For karnali Yaks, Imran Sheikh hit 33 runs in 32 balls, Gulsan Jha hit 19 run in 20 balls, Sompal Kari hit unbeaten 18 runs in 11 balls Priyank Panchal hit 16 runs in 18 balls.

William Bosisto took 2 wickets, Mark Watt, Pawan Sarraf, Nandan Yadav and Sompal Kami took 1 wicket each for Karnali Yaks.

Player of the match awarded to William Bosisto for his contribution of 15 runs in 12 balls and 2 wickets.

For Janakpur Bolts, Sanjay Krishnamurthi hit 51 runs in 39 balls, Sangeeth Cooray hit 25 runs 32 balls and Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton hit 13 runs in 9 balls.

Lalit Rajbanshi and Aditya Mahat took 2 wickets each for Janakpur Bolts .
