Dr KC submits memo to PM Karki

KATHMANDU:- Dr Govinda KC has submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Sushila Karki, demanding reform in medical education.

Orthopedic surgeon Dr KC met PM Karki at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Sunday. Even the Home Minister, Education Minister, Health Minister, and Vice Chairman of the Medical Education Commission were present while Dr KC submitted the letter.

Former Vice Chairman of the Medical Education Commission, Shree Krishna Giri, and Prof Dr Jagdish Prasad Agrawal were also together with Dr KC.

Dr. KC demanded an increase in the necessary workforce at government hospitals and health institutions, as well as the creation of jobs for medical and health workers within the country.
