‘8,000 percent increase in violent threats against ICE law enforcement’

LOS ANGELES:- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today released new data on violent threats against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) law enforcement officers.  DHS claims there has been an 8,000 percent increase in death threats against these officers.

According to DHS, in recent days, family members of ICE officers have been threatened with drugs, and a bounty has been placed on their heads for their murder.

“ICE law enforcement is now facing an 8,000% increase in death threats against them, while they risk their lives every day to apprehend criminals,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “From the bounty placed on their heads for their murders, family threats, stalking and online doxing, our officers are experiencing unprecedented levels of violence and threats against them and their families. This violence against law enforcement must end.”

Earlier this month, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) arrested Eduardo Aguilar, an illegal immigrant from Mexico living in Dallas, Texas, after he posted on TikTok in Spanish about the killing of ICE agents.  Aguilar’s post from October 9, 2025, announced “10 determined guys in Dallas who aren’t afraid to [two skull emojis],” and “a $10,000 reward for each Ice Agent.”

In Texas, an ICE officer’s wife got a call saying, “I don’t know how you let your husband work on ICE, and you sleep at night. F*** you, f*** your family. I hope your kids get deported by accident.” “How do you sleep? F*** you. Did you hear what happened to the Nazis after World War II? Because this is going to happen to your family.”

A separate voicemail left on an Ice employee’s phone was also found this month, where a caller says, “I hope all those lawless c**** you call Ice officers get faked one by one.”

On October 24, 2025, ICE also became aware of a potential officer safety threat based on a Facebook post by an individual named James Adrian Warren. On October 22, 2025, the individual shared posts threatening ICE officers. The post specifically targets the Ferndale, Washington ICE office and calls ICE “Nazis” and “the Gestapo.” The man also says he will start observing, tailing, recording and reporting to Ice employees “to make life difficult for Ice here in Whatcom County.”
