Monsoon winds lose strength; moderate rainfall likely in three provinces

KATHMANDU:- Currently the influence of monsoon winds across the country is weak with partial influence of local winds.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, this afternoon the hilly regions of the country will generally be cloudy while other areas will be partly cloudy.

The division has reported possibility of moderate rainfall in some hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in a few places in other areas.

The hilly regions of Koshi province and the rest of the provinces will be partly cloudy tonight, with mainly clear weather in other areas.

Moderate rainfall is likely in some hilly areas of Koshi province and the rest of the provinces.
