Possibility of rain in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces
KATHMANDU:- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported the partial influence of both monsoon and westerly winds across the country. Consequently, there is currently partial cloud cover nationwide, with light rain occurring in one or two places within the Terai region of Bagmati Province.
This afternoon, generally cloudy conditions are expected in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Meanwhile, partial cloud cover is anticipated in the mountainous and hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as across the country’s Terai region.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in a few places across the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, and light rain in one or two places in the hilly regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Light rain is also possible in one or two places across the Terai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
Tonight, the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will be generally cloudy, while the mountainous and hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces will experience partial cloud cover. The Terai regions of the country will see partial cloudiness and morning fog.
The Department has stated that there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places within the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi Province, as well as in one or two locations across the hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
