Heavy rain in three provinces and a possibility of strong winds in some areas on Monday and Tuesday
KATHMANDU:- According to the Weather Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in three provinces on Monday and Tuesday.
The Division reports that the country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds. Light to moderate rain is occurring in a few places across Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.
On Monday night, there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places across the hilly and Terai regions of Koshi Province, as well as the hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. The department has also indicated a likelihood of gusty winds in some areas of Madhesh Province and the Terai region of Koshi Province.
Similarly, on Tuesday, heavy rain is likely in one or two places within the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, while gusty winds are expected in some parts of Madhesh Province and the Terai region of Koshi Province.
On Wednesday, there is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places across the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi Province, as well as the hilly and Terai regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
