HoR Meeting Scheduled Today, Four Bills to Be Referred to Committees
KATHMANDU:- The House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled to meet today at 1 pm, with the session set to include responses from relevant ministers to queries raised by lawmakers.
Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, representing Prime Minister Balendra Shah, is expected to propose sending the First Amendment Bill, 2083, concerning the remuneration and services of constitutional office bearers, to the concerned committee for further review.
Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal is also scheduled to present a proposal to refer the Passport (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, to the relevant committee for detailed discussion.
Similarly, Minister Sita Badi is expected to propose referring the Human Trafficking and Transportation (Control) (First Amendment) Bill, 2083, to a committee for further deliberation. Minister Gauri Kumari will propose sending the Mines and Minerals Bill, 2083, to the concerned committee.
Meanwhile, five parliamentary committees are scheduled to meet today. They include the International Relations and Tourism Committee, Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, Infrastructure Development Committee, Legislative Management Committee, and Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee.
