Gold price rises by 4,800 per tola

KATHMANDU:- The prices of gold and silver have risen in the local market today, Sunday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has increased by Rs 4,800 per tola, reaching Rs 301,700. Last Friday, gold was traded at Rs 296,000 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has risen by Rs 65 per tola, reaching Rs 4,645. On Friday, silver was traded at Rs 4,580 per tola.

According to international media reports, the price of gold in the international market today stands at $4,343 per ounce, while the price of silver is set at $63 per ounce.
