Committee formed to recommend reform measures on insurance sector

KATHMANDU:- The Finance Ministry has formed a three-member committee to study and suggest recommendations for the reform measures in the country’s insurance sector. Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle formed the committee after a minister-level decision.   

Sushil Kumar Ojha was named the coordinator of the study team while Sahadev Tiwari and Shreekrishna Thapa Magar are the members in the committee.

Minister Dr Wagle’s secretariat informed that the committee was given the timeline of 90 days to submit the study report and offer recommendations to bring about reforms in the insurance sector. (RSS)
