Former ANFA President, Karma Tsering Sherpa arrested

KATHMANDU:- Police have arrested former president of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), Karma Tsering Sherpa, on Friday evening.

A team of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the Nepal Police nabbed Sherpa from Kathmandu in connection with fraud and criminal breach of trust. 

Bureau Spokesperson, Senior Superintendent of Police, Anup Shumsher JB Rana, shared that Sherpa was arrested for the investigation into the charge of embezzling Rs 87.8 million of Tungaram International Academy located at Hattigauda.

Sherpa is also accused of taking advantages and causing loss to school while serving as the executive head of the school.
