Women’s SAFF Championship Football: Nepal defeats Bhutan

KATHMANDU:- Nepal has defeated Bhutan in the SAFF Women’s Championship football match held in India.

Nepal defeated Bhutan 1-0 in the match held today at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa, India.

In the 23rd minute of the match, Nepal’s Geeta Rana’s shot hit the foot of a Bhutanese player and turned into a goal.

Nepal will now play the second match against Sri Lanka on 17th of this month.
